Allow me to give you a glimpse of who I am...
I discovered the art of cinematography in college thanks to a professor whose passion for the craft lit a fire in me. By senior year, I was completely immersed; DP’ing nearly every thesis film & falling hard for the storytelling process. But in truth, my love for cameras started long before: sneaking off with my mom’s film camera as a young girl, unknowingly following in the footsteps of my late uncle, who also shot film & dreamed of directing. In many ways, this career has become a quiet homage to him.
I’m most drawn to narrative storytelling, though I also value the precision & visual discipline of commercial work. Throughout my career in the camera department, I’ve gained experience across narrative features, episodic television, documentaries, music videos & live broadcast entertainment workflows. My love for the water; snorkeling, diving & wakeboarding has led me to explore surface & underwater photography & develop lighting techniques I now incorporate into my cinematography.
Detail-oriented by nature, I stay focused & efficient on set while fostering a collaborative environment. I care deeply about the work I take on; I also know how to balance that passion with the realities of production. Never settling, never satisfied, but always working with the day. Directors & producers often note my calm energy, preparedness & creative instincts; especially when plans inevitably shift.
Projects I’ve lensed have aired on HBO, Hulu & Amazon Prime, alongside short films that have screened at festivals across the U.S. I’ve also shot for the Coachella Music Festival, contributing to large-scale productions with high creative energy.
Drawn to the visual arts at a young age, I spent summers studying at the University of Miami's Lowe Art Museum & later took part in Miami-Dade College's teen college programs exploring interior design, AutoCAD, architecture & magazine layout. I also joined the Junior Docents program at Florida International University's Frost Museum where I developed an early appreciation for composition, color & form. That foundation ultimately evolved into a passion for motion picture production.
I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Miami-Dade College with a Bachelor of Science in Film & Television. In this time, I spent a semester abroad in Santander, Spain, studying language & culture which broadened my worldview & deepened my connection to storytelling.
As a Cuban-American fluent in English, Spanish & Portuguese (with a hint of French), I bring a multicultural perspective to every project; something I value in both collaborating & storytelling. With a passport in hand, I’m travel-ready & always looking for the next story to bring to life.
YOU take in what you've learned & reach out for your next project.
FADE TO BLACK.
